1)剪报 （可写在稿纸上）--第三学段开学第一天呈交
2)创意阅读任务 (参考“创意阅读王—我的创意阅读手册”) --第三学段开学后第二周呈交
3)学成语 (91-140)--第三学段-成语考查(考查日期第2周再通知)
4)专题作业一“我的文字相簿” (第二部分)--第三学段开学后第一周;把部落格(blog)网址电邮给华文老师。
And for those who haven't hand in your chinese portfolio yet, ahemtreezaahem, I think y'all need to send to teacher or put it in her locker by today.
Math
1)Proj for people who aren't in RS math. Details in the handout.
2)"Return to School" Quiz: When you return to school, there will be a quiz on ALL topics learnt during semester 1 (Integers to Algebra (up to simplifying fractions)). This will be a 30 mark quiz.
50% of the quiz will be made up of questions from your previous quizzes, tests, assignments and worksheets. Here, notice that a well organised Maths File is an asset. You will also find ample practice in your Shinglee workbook, and Moodle.
The rationale for the quiz is to ensure that all the topics learnt during Semester 1 will not be forgotten. So yeah, remember to study for it. Good luck in advance(:

The holiday homework comprises of 25 multiple choice questions to be completed in 30 minutes, and the number of tries are unlimited.The moodle link for the holiday homework is: http://dunmanhigh.sg/learn/mod/quiz/index.php?id=257. Alternatively, you could find the link at: http://learn.dhs.sg,2010 LSSY1 SCIENCE (Phyics / Chemistry). This holiday homework is compulsory and please complete it by 22 Jun 2010.

More changes, here it goes.
-must wear socks. LONG SOCKS best. cos the skates will sort of hurt your ankles
-changing to NINE O'CLOCK! zao sheng de niao er you chong chi. so we are going early. haha :)
-one more thing: THOSE WHO DUN COME FOR THIS WILL GET SPANK IN THEIR BUTT!!! cos we spent lots of time to get it planned.

Class outing once again

Heyys jovians of dead blog which no one reads,
Here are some changes to the class outing. Best thing would be read the email the class outing committee sent, but since you are here already, just read below.
IF I'M NOT WRONG
JUNE HOLIDAY CLASS OUTING ONE:
Date: 8TH JUNE 2010, TUESDAY
Venue: Kallang Leisure Park
Time: 10am-6:30pm (PLEASE meet at LATEST 9:45pm outside the school! We will leave for Kallang Leisure Park at 10AM SHARP! So please be punctual! Latecomers, please find a way to KLP yourself and meet at the bowling alley!)
Activities: Bowling, ice-skating & a SURPRISE!!! (It's FUN not LAME)
Things to bring:
- Camera (Phone camera is also okay)
- Gloves
- Water bottle
- EZlink card with at LEAST $5
- Umbrella
- About $30, but if too ex. just bring $20 because $30 is inclusive of spare money
PLEASE WEAR CLASS TEE AND JEANS!

Okay, this post goes out to all the jovians out there reading this. Though I believe that no one reads this blog. If you are reading this line now, kindly tag on the tagboard okays? The blog is already half dead, so the tagboard must not die as well. Thanks.
Anw, please note that we are having a class outing on 8th of May!!! This class outing is not the KLP one, it is the SENTOSA one!!!
Details:
Date: 8th of May
Time: 9am-6pm
Place we are meeting: Vivocity ( MRT station )
Stuff to bring:
1) Umbrella (duhhhh)
2) Money, abt $30 ( extra duhhhh)
3) extra clothes ( we are having water fight, you dun wanna be wet again, right? )

Please be reminded that your reflections of 1000 words and the chinese portfolio are due tomorrow. Also, complete your computing assignments. Take note that lessons will be as per normal tomorrow. Term 2 Week 10. Day 9 will be replaced by Day 10 (in lieu of Speech Day/Vesak Day on Day 10). The date is 27 May. So tomorrow is Day 10 timetable okays?

Okay, I just had what might be a fantastic idea(depends on your opinions, free to be debated). We should have a Student of the Week/Month/Year Award!( for our class ofc). Please tell me if this is a good idea, because I think it is. We nominate/vote for him/her based on contributions, grades, attitude( conduct) and much more. This idea is debatable and up to you people(class) to decided.

anyway,level camp, electives, and holiday are coming! and holiday = class gathering~ (:
details for the class gathering
TIME: 10AM-6PM
LOCATION: KLP aka kallang leisure park
DATE: 17TH JUNE 2010
ACTIVITIES: Ice-skating,Bowling & SURPRISE:D
ATTIRE: CLASS TEE and jeans/long pants.
Note: jeans/long pants are needed because we are ice skating. , AND IF YOU WANT YOU CAN WEAR SHORTS FIRST THEN CHANGE TO JEANS/LONG PANTS LATER.
BRING:
1.water bottle,
2.an EZlink card WITH AT LEAST $5 IN IT
(Needed for a SURPRISE GAME. *COMPULSARY 2 BRING & PLAY*)
3. an umbrellla

(inclusive of spare money!:D) That's $6 for 2 games of bowling, abt $11 for ice skating and $5 for lunch unless you want to eat alot...
